Location: Atlanta, GA 30336
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 Hourly


Schedule: 12 Hour shift, Days will rotate. (Must be able to work some weekends)

Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:15 PM

Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:15


Job Overview:
The Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 15–20 warehouse employees during their assigned shift. This role ensures employees are following all safety procedures, wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining productivity and quality standards.



Job Duties:

  • Supervise and support 15–20 employees during the assigned shift.
  • Ensure all employees wear and properly use required PPE and follow safety policies.
  • Monitor shift coverage, attendance, and staffing needs to maintain adequate operational coverage.
  • Assign daily tasks and help balance workloads to meet production and warehouse goals.
  • Communicate expectations, address employee concerns, and provide guidance as needed.
  • Report safety incidents, staffing issues, and operational concerns to management.
  • Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
  • Operate and monitor production lines.
  • Handle plastic bottles and preforms throughout the production process.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues.
  • Move and position Gaylords as needed for production.
  • Support machine operators and production equipment.
  • Remove completed Gaylords and replace them with empty Gaylords.
  • Keep production lines supplied with necessary materials.
  • Assist with line changeovers and production setup as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all GMP, PPE, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Report machine, product, or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Perform other production and utility duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of lead experience
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Must be able to work around production machinery.
  • Must follow all Plastipak safety, GMP, and PPE requirements.
  • Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team.
