The Role Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for the media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a top-of-the-line Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment and iPad, our Associate Photographers create virtual tours, floorplans and photography for residential homes. Each Associate Photographer is given a core territory in which they are responsible for servicing clients of Homes.com and Apartments.com. Associate Photographers will have appointments set for defined dates and times, where they will scan homes and apartments with Matterport Pro3 cameras, capturing virtual tours and floor plans. Associate Photographers will also be responsible for residential photography to be used in marketing purposes to advertise homes and apartments to future owners and renters. This role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics and the management team. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager located in local markets. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Support marketing efforts on our industry-leading marketplaces, Homes.com and Apartments.com, by capturing beautiful 3-D virtual tours and footprints.</li><li>Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to capture the spaces in the most pleasing way possible.</li><li>Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet our client’s demands.</li><li>Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to strategically evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.</li><li>Own the market! While not working on a residential home, navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage. Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed. </li><li>Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.</li><li>Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.</li><li>Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.</li></ul> Physical Requirements of Position <ul><li>Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day. </li><li>Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds </li><li>Repetitive hand and arm movements are needed to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.</li><li>Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are necessary to perform job functions. </li><li>Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.</li><li>The ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>At least 2 years of professional experience.</li><li>Track record of commitment to prior employers.</li><li>Real Estate Photography experience required.</li><li>Experience working as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.</li><li>High School Diploma/GED</li><li>Strong customer service experience with a client first mindset.</li><li>Be an experienced Drone Photographer with a FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.</li><li>Strong time management skills and very detailed oriented.</li><li>Capability to accurately capture and enter data.</li><li>Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.</li><li>Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications. Additionally, Apple IOS products.</li><li>Enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Field experience preferred. </li><li>Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.</li><li>Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.</li></ul> Compensation: <ul><li>The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.</li><li>Base Compensation: $49,000 - $50,000 (Hourly)</li></ul> Whats In It For You?
