Remote Logistics Dispatcher (Morning Shift)

About EXP Group EXP Group is a produce distribution and logistics company with operations in New Jersey, New York, and Texas. Our transportation team keeps fresh product moving every day, starting before sunrise.

About The Role We are looking for an experienced, dependable dispatcher to run our early-morning operation remotely. You will be the first point of contact for drivers and vendors at the start of the day. You will handle same-day requests and solve problems as they come up.

This role works 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Eastern Time What You'll Do

  • Answer and manage driver and operator calls, resolving issues that come up during morning operations - Communicate with vendors by email about pickups, deliveries, and changes
  • Receive, schedule, and dispatch same-day requests
  • Respond to immediate operational problems such as delays, equipment issues, and driver availability, and escalate when needed
  • Keep accurate records of dispatch activity and changes
  • Coordinate with the evening dispatcher and transportation leadership for a smooth handoff
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics coordination
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and working under time pressure
  • Strong written communication for vendor email correspondence
  • Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet workspace, and a working phone/headset
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions without on-site supervision
  • Experience dispatching Class A and Class B drivers
Preferred
  • Experience in produce, refrigerated, or food distribution
  • Experience with dispatch, routing, or TMS software
