AI Value Strategist

Sapiens Opportunity

Sapiens has something truly unique. Over 40 years, we've built deep insurance expertise that no-one else can replicate. Combined with the power of SapiensAIP that knowledge gives us an extraordinary opportunity to transform how insurance works, and to help build the autonomous insurer of tomorrow. This is where Advance the Possible comes in. It isn't a programme or a new strategy. It's our DNA. It's about how we think, work and challenge ourselves every day. It means moving with greater urgency, questioning old ways of working and creating better outcomes for our customers.

Purpose:

Find the problem worth solving, turn it into a live buildable backlog, redesign the process around AI and make sure the value lands.

Responsibilities:

  • Run continuous direct discovery with process owners and front-line users; discovery is delivery work.
  • Identify the real broken process and express the value hypothesis in terms a P&L owner recognises.
  • Convert discovery into a live, prioritised backlog the AI-FDE can build against immediately.
  • Own process redesign and adoption: the change counts only when customer people use the new process.
  • Hold scope to the measurable business outcome through MVE build, validation and production.
  • Present results and next priorities from front line to executive sponsor; feed patterns to the catalogue and R&D.
  • Partners one-to-one with the AI-FDE. Not the BVDE (account-level value) or PDE (programme and commercial). Customer process owners co-own adoption.

How success is judged:

  • Quality and value of the backlog, not volume of requirements.
  • Measured production outcome and customer adoption.
  • Speed from idea to buildable use case; value delivered per account and expansion.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in P&C or L&A insurance operations or consulting; process redesign and business cases.
  • Domain-expert-challenger; executive presence with COOs and CUOs and with front-line users.
  • Working data fluency (SQL, Python or advanced Excel); low ego, high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • A record of process redesign that delivered a measurable result: cost, speed, loss ratio or customer experience.
  • Curiosity about AI: you have led automation or AI work, or you are ready to learn fast inside a pod.
  • Experience of core insurance systems or Sapiens implementations would desired but not essential

Benefits:

  • Total target cash at the top quarter of the market, with 25% variable tied to the value you deliver.
  • A team of engineers who build what you design, on a platform made for insurance.
  • A role at the start of a new model in the industry, with room to grow into pod and regional leadership.
