Remote Operations Producer II – Disney (Remote, Hawaii, USA)
Salary: $20–30/hour, 8 hours per day, 125 working days per calendar year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational, technical, and logistical aspects of remote sports video production.
- Define, implement, and manage departmental regulations related to remote television broadcasting.
- Coordinate program preparation and on‑site supervision from start to finish.
- Provide guidance and training to remote workers, project managers, and technical teams.
- Ensure ESPN safety and conduct standards are followed, including screening and clearance of on‑site personnel.
- Meet deadlines for technical and financial planning; develop and produce program materials such as research, technical documentation, and release reports.
- Troubleshoot complex technologies and projects onsite, consulting with support groups as needed.
- Manage on‑site and team work including scheduling, travel, and work hours.
- Assist in developing and implementing new technologies for remote events.
- Travel to remote programs, including international sites, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Maintain knowledge of production models, signal processing, scalability, transmission and emerging technologies.
- Apply strong interpersonal, voice and email communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Oversee lending and payment processes within remote operations objectives.
- Share best practices and maintain communication with third‑party vendors.
Qualifications
- Graduation (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Experience with remote media production and logistical coordination.
- Knowledge of media standards, production models, and technical equipment.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
