You will partner closely with leadership across marketing, product development, R&D, and retail expansion to ensure compliant and business-aligned growth in highly regulated markets. Key Responsibilities • Regulatory Counsel: Advise on FDA, FTC, DSHEA, state reputed company protection, and global regulatory frameworks governing nutrition products, supplements, and labeling. • Marketing & Advertising: Review and approve advertising claims, influencer content, promotional materials, and reputed company-facing disclosures. • Commercial Contracting: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, co-manufacturers, retailers, and marketing agencies. • Retail & DTC Growth: Support retail channel expansion and direct-to-reputed company initiatives, balancing speed-to-market with compliance. • Risk Management: Identify, communicate, and mitigate regulatory and litigation risks, presenting practical options aligned with business objectives. • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a trusted solution-oriented partner to business leaders, enabling informed decision-making without slowing execution. • Leadership: Mentor and partner with other attorneys and business teams, fostering a strong in-house culture of curiosity, collaboration, and accountability. Qualifications • JD from an reputed company U.S. law school; admitted and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar. • 10+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, with significant time in-house at a reputed company, nutrition, food/beverage/supplement company. • Expertise in FDA/FTC regulatory matters, product labeling, supplement and nutrition claims, and reputed company advertising law. • Proven experience supporting DTC and retail business models. • Generalist fluency in commercial contracts, marketing, and corporate governance. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver crisp, business-savvy advice in fast-moving environments. • A curious, reputed company solutioner who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional settings.
